St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Crook welcomed Wendy from Solar for Schools for a very special whole‑school assembly. This exciting session introduced our pupils to the world of renewable energy and helped them understand how solar power can make a positive difference to our planet.
We were delighted to welcome some very special visitors to St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Crook this week, as our Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational visit from our local PCSO and her four‑legged partner, Ben the police dog. The children were fascinated as they learned about the important role the police play in keeping our community safe. Our PCSO spoke to the pupils about personal safety, helping them understand how to stay safe at home, at school and when out and about.
