St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School, Crook is celebrating a fantastic day of sporting success following a memorable performance at the Primary Schools Athletics Competition held at Shildon Stadium. Pupils from the school took part in a wide range of events, demonstrating not only their athletic ability but also their determination, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship. Staff praised every participant for representing the school with pride and enthusiasm throughout the day.
Our Year 5 pupils had a fantastic time taking part in the OAA Festival at Hamsterley Forest! Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a range of exciting outdoor activities, including den building, team challenges and learning important survival skills. It was wonderful to see them embracing the outdoors and making the most of such a unique experience.
Today, Class 1 had the exciting opportunity to use the Chromebooks as part of their learning. The children explored computer programming through a fun and engaging activity, playing a game featuring the Big Bad Wolf. As they worked through the challenges, they collaborated brilliantly, supporting each other to solve the puzzles and develop their problem-solving skills.
