This term, our ASPIRE Days were brought to life by More Than Dance, creating a vibrant celebration of faith and creativity. Key Stage 2 pupils explored the inspiring stories of the Northern Saints, learning how their messages still guide us today. Through expressive dance and music, pupils shared these powerful lessons – and we loved seeing our grown-ups join in with such enthusiasm!
Superhero Day at St. Cuthbert’s – Unleashing Our Inner Heroes!
On Thursday 6th November, Class 1 and Class 2 swapped their school uniforms for capes and masks as they transformed into superheroes for an action-packed Superhero Games session! Led by none other than Thor, the children spent the morning tackling exciting challenges, testing their strength, and embracing the qualities that make a true hero.

Class 3 enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the Life Science Centre in Newcastle, packed with discovery, excitement, and hands-on learning! The day began with an electricity workshop, sparking curiosity as pupils explored circuits and energy through interactive activities.
National Fitness Day at St. Cuthbert’s – Moving, Grooving, and Growing Together!
St. Cuthbert’s pupils embraced National Fitness Day with energy and enthusiasm! The celebrations kicked off with a fun-filled dough disco, followed by a lively whole-school warm-up that got everyone moving. In the afternoon, pupils powered through an exciting fitness session, proving that staying active can be both healthy and fun.

Our St. Cuthbert’s family embraced International Dot Day with a burst of creativity, collaboration, and courage! Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ beloved book The Dot, pupils arrived dressed in imaginative outfits that expressed their individuality and artistic flair.
