Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time visiting St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College! They took part in an exciting Science lesson where they explored different liquids and tested whether they were acids or alkalis using real scientific equipment.
Well done, Year 4 — you represented St Cuthbert’s brilliantly!
Why This Visit Matters: St Cuthbert’s and St John’s
As many of our families know, St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College is one of the key secondary schools that St Cuthbert’s pupils transition to. Strengthening this link is incredibly valuable, and opportunities like today’s visit give our children a chance to experience secondary‑level learning in a supportive, inspiring environment.
St John’s is located in Bishop Auckland and is part of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust, offering a strong Catholic ethos and a wide range of learning experiences.
