What an exciting way for Class 1 to start the new term — with a mystery and a very special visitor!
When the children arrived at school, they were amazed to discover some very large and unusual footprints on the classroom floor. Next to the footprints was a box containing a special message, which we read together. The excitement only grew when we opened the box to find a brand‑new storybook… and six dinosaur eggs!
Following the instructions carefully, the children submerged each egg into a bucket of water and began the long (and very exciting!) wait to see what might happen next.
Dino Update!
The wait has begun to pay off — one of our six dinosaur eggs has fully hatched, with five more still to go! The children are keeping a very close eye on the remaining eggs, checking in regularly to see if there are any more changes.
This sparked lots of discussions, predictions and brilliant curiosity, making it a fantastic learning opportunity filled with wonder and excitement. We can’t wait to see what hatches next… stay tuned for more dinosaur updates from Class 1!
